Key Responsibilities

  • •Read and translate blueprints/one-line diagrams to install outlets, circuits, load centers and electrical equipment.
  • •Test all connections after installation to ensure proper and safe operation.
  • •Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in industrial equipment and processes.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance including disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration of electrical systems.
  • •Comply with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Prefer an Associate’s degree in electronics/electrical, instrumentation or a related technical field or its equivalent in experience.
  • •Prefer 3-5 years experience as an operations/maintenance technician, or previous experience in electronics.
  • •Ability to test, setup, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of electronic/electrical and mechanical equipment including motors, PLCs, radar gauges, relays, switchgear, pumps, and instrumentation.
  • •Knowledge of reading schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical data; ability to calculate electrical load requirements.
  • •Safety-conscious with knowledge of DOT/OSHA requirements and experience using CMMS for asset records.
