Job Summary

Lead and optimize the local accounting function for the Holon site, ensuring accurate monthly close, compliance with adidas Group policies, and collaboration with Tax, Internal Control, and Audit. Key Responsibilities

•Optimize the accounting department structure to meet business needs efficiently (resources optimization).
•Coordinate and ensure proper performance by the team of daily and recurrent tasks—daily bookings, monthly reporting in line with local accounting principles and Global guidelines.
•Act as a project initiator to improve current processes and to control proper implementation.
•Administer accounting system maintenance and update Global chart of accounts in close collaboration with Group Accounting.
•Bring efficiency to the month end closing process and monitor/reconcile monthly balance sheet and P&L movements.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of accounting experience in a leadership/functional role
•Experience with local accounting principles and Global guidelines
•Proficiency in SAP bookkeeping and month-end closing processes
•Ability to optimize accounting department structure and manage personnel targets
•Strong collaboration with Tax, Internal Control/Profit Protection and external Auditors to ensure compliance and timely financial reporting
