Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive manufacturing planning and industrialization from late-stage prototype builds through mass-production ramp.
  • •Design high-throughput manufacturing systems targeting first-pass yield and cycle-time goals.
  • •Apply first-principles DFM/A to optimize part count and complexity, tooling/equipment compatibility, and poka-yoke implementation.
  • •Lead vendor make-or-buy studies, virtual-build events, and automation cell/conveyance conceptualization; manage FAT/SAT and on-site bring-up.
  • •Define manufacturing system data structures (MBoM/BoP/BoE) and lead quality execution using SPC, PFMEA, 8D root-cause, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •1-3+ years of mechanical, manufacturing, build, or integration experience (including project teams, research, internships, or professional roles).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in industrial & systems, mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • •Graduating with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree by December 2026 or January 2027.
  • •Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and process capability, and experience with first-principles DFM/A strategies.
