Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor third-party design and construction firms developing multidisciplinary construction models.
  • •Review and validate third-party BIM work and requirements, including clash detection workflows, metadata checks, LOD alignment, model signoff/turnover expectations, and naming conventions.
  • •Collaborate with external BIM teams to align BIM expectations with facility requirements and project timelines; manage contractor staff resource allocation.
  • •Provide Navisworks technical mentorship and training for contract BIM Coordinator staff; perform Navisworks clash detection as needed.
  • •Use BIM and project management tools (Autodesk Forma, Procore, Revit, AutoCAD) to monitor BIM signoffs and maintain Micron BIM/VDC requirements with internal teams and Facilities counterparts.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 5 years of experience in the BIM/VDC industry.
  • •Solid understanding of BIM/VDC workflows, including Navisworks functionality, Autodesk software, and CDE platforms (Forma).
  • •Familiarity with AEC project organizational change workflows in Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build with strong Owner involvement.
  • •Familiarity with Facilities Engineering teams and roles.
