Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements, including forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
  • •Serve as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
  • •Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in a commercial environment using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, and mechanical layouts.
  • •Diagnose and repair units using cutting-edge technology/software plus hand tools while following blueprints or engineering specifications.
  • •Maintain safety standards and record use/wear/conditions of company-issued and procured assets; stay flexible for overtime/weekends and occasional overnight stays as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent, and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school/formal training preferred.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations, including no DUI/Hit & Run and no license suspension in the previous 3 years.
  • •EPA Certification.
  • •Ability to follow blueprints or engineering specifications and use hand tools to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment.
