Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, review, and present comprehensive project cost estimates, including construction costs, fees, and ancillary expenses, with value engineering recommendations and risk assessments.
  • •Manage vendor prequalification and bid processes by assessing proposals, analyzing bids, conducting bid interviews, and making recommendations to support decision-making.
  • •Establish and maintain cost reporting schedules, preparing cost reports and forecasts and hosting meetings for alignment with project teams and vendors.
  • •Monitor and control project costs by reviewing payment applications, coordinating contractor entitlements with project managers, evaluating change order requests, and implementing dispute prevention/resolution procedures while maintaining commercial risk registers.
  • •Use cost estimating software, take-off software, bid analysis sheets, and change control forms to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related construction field.
  • •Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
  • •Proven experience supporting cost management on medium to large-sized construction projects.
  • •Strong proficiency with cost estimating software, take-off software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • •RICS accreditation or active progress toward certification (valued), and in-country (UAE) experience is required.
