Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and lead overall operations of onsite health centers in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
  • •Provide subject-matter expertise for Health Services policies and issues across HR, Safety, Legal, Risk Management, Industrial Hygiene, and refinery departments.
  • •Collaborate with HR, Legal, and business units to develop and implement health services policies and procedures, including case management for injuries/illnesses.
  • •Partner with the supervising physician for chart signoffs; maintain compliance with DEA/controlled substance requirements, scope of practice, and HIPAA.
  • •Lead health care team compliance approaches, monitor audits, manage annual budget forecasting and cost containment, and perform required medical examinations/fit testing as applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in Nursing and be board-certified as a Nurse Practitioner or be from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • •2-3 years of experience as an occupational health nurse or physician assistant (family practice or internal medicine experience also considered).
  • •Current jurisdictional Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license required.
  • •Maintain required certifications/licensing including DEA, Control Substance License, and NPI.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office; preferred experience with Cority and ODG by MCG, plus COHN-S and related DOT/health testing certifications.
