Key Responsibilities

  • •Understand the business and products to write insightful management commentary.
  • •Work with engineers and data teams to automate reporting to reduce manual effort.
  • •Maintain and update financial reporting policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring they are scalable.
  • •Support the full year-end process, including drafting the annual report and working with external auditors until final sign-off.
  • •Assess accounting impacts of new products, contracts, and changes in accounting standards, and support ESG sustainability reporting and disclosures.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified chartered accountant (ACA or CA) with audit experience, plus financial reporting and control experience outside of practice.
  • •Great eye for detail.
  • •Comfort translating complex information into simple words for people with diverse backgrounds.
  • •Highly comfortable leveraging data to automate reporting and drive efficiency (SQL skills would be a bonus).
  • •Fascination with the banking and regulatory landscape and a good understanding of key financial controls.
