Lead a front-line inspection team to keep Carvana vehicle Reconditioning Centers running smoothly and safely. Manage car flow, oversee day-to-day operations, and drive production, inventory, and quality targets through coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution. Review mechanical and physical defects, partner with the Inspection Center General Manager on repair or reject decisions, and train associates using Quality Control standards to minimize rework and delays.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
•Oversee day-to-day activities, identify strengths/weaknesses, and determine improvement opportunities.
•Engage and develop assigned associates through coaching, feedback, performance management, and training.
•Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory and lead repair or reject decisions in partnership with the General Manager.
•Ensure adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards, and work safely to prevent injury.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED equivalent
•Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years
•Experience using computers

•Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced, potentially cold/hot/noisy/wet environment
