Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery at times during installation for testing purposes.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
  • •Handle installation scenarios from basic power/ignition/ground to complex custom wiring harness work accessing CAN network.
  • •Travel to client sites or EquipmentShare rental yards, troubleshoot problems, and work occasional outside-hours/weekend schedules as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred).
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools; hard-working and eager to learn.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer) with training provided for telematics.
  • •Own tools; ability to drive and maneuver in tight spaces, bend/squat/walk long distances, and lift more than 25 lb.
  • •Be able to travel within a 250-mile radius for up to a week at a time and pass a background check (10-panel drug screen may be required).
