Job Summary

Join the Scientific System of Record team to build and maintain full‑stack systems that connect scientific intent to physical results. You’ll design UX/UI and APIs, model data across SQL/NoSQL/vector databases, and work with scientists, ML engineers, and platform teams to ensure reliability, performance, and observability for production systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Function: Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Build lab execution and scientific workflows: model scientific intent, experiment planning, protocol execution, sample and asset state, and results capture across complex lab workflows.
•Design and implement high-quality, secure UIs and APIs that support scientists, automation systems, ML workflows, and AI-driven applications.
•Develop front-end and back-end services with a focus on performance, maintainability, and reliability.
•Develop domain models, schemas, indexes, and data contracts across SQL, NoSQL, vector databases, data lakehouses, and other scientific data systems.
•Improve production reliability through debugging, monitoring, performance tuning, and contributing to observability and operational excellence.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 144,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
•4-6+ years of engineering experience building and deploying large-scale systems in production; strong in either front-end or backend.
•Strong expertise across the stack in at least one area: front-end engineering, backend engineering, or data modeling and system design.
•TypeScript, React, and Python: strong experience with React/TypeScript; Python preferred.
•Experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs, services, and application components with focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
