Job Summary

Own end-to-end Invoice-to-Cash collections for ByteDance’s most strategic APAC clients, driving cash flow through disciplined payment inflows and effective resolution of billing disputes. Partner with Sales leadership and Sales Support as a trusted financial advisor, using data-driven insights to optimize collections and credit processes, reduce outstanding debt, and mitigate bad-debt risk. Work closely with stakeholders across Finance within Global Revenue Management (GRM).

Key Responsibilities

•Drive end-to-end Invoice-to-Cash operations by owning strategic payment inflows for APAC clients.
•Resolve complex billing disputes and address customer inquiries with timely resolutions.
•Optimize collections and credit processes and tools to improve efficiency, reduce outstanding debt, and mitigate bad-debt risk.
•Serve as a trusted point of contact for Sales leadership and Sales Support, influencing financial policies using data-driven insights.
•Provide ongoing consultation to key clients and stakeholders on collections policies and processes.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of work experience in collections or accounts receivable, with a strong track record managing overdue accounts.
•Proficiency in Mandarin, including frequent communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and reviewing reports in Mandarin.
•Strong communication and negotiation skills to handle difficult conversations and drive timely payments.
•Solid understanding of debt collection processes, workflows, and best practices.
•Experience working across APAC markets, including knowledge of regional practices and cultural nuances.
