Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement electrical systems for hyper-scale data centers, including medium/low-voltage power distribution, backup power, and emergency systems.
•Develop and maintain electrical schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and installation drawings.
•Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes, including National Electric Code (NEC) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards.
•Analyze electrical systems to identify and resolve issues, including load balancing, capacity planning, and power consumption optimization.
•Act as Engineer of Record by approving/signing off work, providing estimates for electrical budgets and schedules, and mentoring mid-level engineers.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering plus eight (8) years of relevant experience in electrical design and/or electrical engineering focused on data center infrastructure (or demonstrated equivalency).
•Professional Engineer License (P.E.) or Professional Engineer Designation (P. Eng) is required.
•Strong background designing and engineering electrical systems for high-density data centers.
•Strong knowledge of NEC (NFPA70).
•Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain client relationships.
