Key Responsibilities

  • •Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
  • •Set up, prepare, and operate TIG welding equipment to weld and fabricate stainless steel products.
  • •Assemble metal structures and components in line with design requirements and inspect welded joints for structural integrity and quality compliance.
  • •Ensure work meets relevant welding codes, safety standards, and company quality requirements; identify defects and carry out repairs or adjustments.
  • •Maintain welding machines, tools, and work areas; follow health, safety, and environmental procedures and report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses immediately.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant welding qualification (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Welding & Fabrication, or equivalent).

  • •Proven experience in a workshop or site-based welding environment.
  • •Strong TIG welding capability with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
  • •Good understanding of fabrication techniques and inspection methods.
