Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop a cohesive womenswear range aligned to brand strategy, ensuring no gaps or duplication and that the season is commercially logical.
  • •Work with Design to shape product direction aligned to brand and divisional strategy.
  • •Deliver department KPIs by driving margin and profit, identifying risks, and addressing them in partnership with Merchandising.
  • •Anticipate customer needs using sales and trend data to deliver commercial product ranges accounting for global factors.
  • •Lead and build a strong team of ABs and BAs, providing clear direction, development, and feedback; manage within OTB and influence trend and performance.

  • •Significant experience operating as a Junior Buyer/Buyer within a fast-paced global Retailer.
  • •Proven ability to drive the success of a department through creative and commercial thinking.
  • •Highly developed negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to gain buy-in from teams and management.
  • •In-depth knowledge of planning and trading documents, with the ability to challenge figures and plans as needed.
  • •Strong prioritisation and systems skills, including relevant Trading systems and MS Office; demonstrate an effective and inclusive leadership style.
