Operate and maintain utility machinery on the production floor as needed to cover vacation and absenteeism. Perform all jobs within the department and operate required equipment, including power industrial trucks. Document machine settings, weights, and data on paper and in computer-based systems, while assembling/disassembling and cleaning equipment. Follow safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements and complete assigned tasks from supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

•Fill in for vacation/absenteeism and perform all jobs and operate all machines in the department.
•Operate machinery and understand product specifications being run.
•Document machine settings, weights, and other required data on paper and electronically in computer-based systems.
•Assemble, disassemble, and clean equipment as needed, and communicate issues to lead and supervisor.
•Comply with safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements, and perform rotated positions when applicable.

Key Requirements

•Must have 3 months of operator or manufacturing experience in work history or skills (and 6 months of work history in the last 12 months to be considered).
•Must not have been terminated from a previous employer for attendance or job abandonment.

•Must be able to assemble, disassemble, and clean equipment when needed and communicate issues to lead and supervisor.
•Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a frequent basis and perform physical job requirements (with or without accommodation).
