Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and help build mission-critical systems for the observability platform, driving performance, scalability, cost-efficiency, and resiliency.
  • •Design and implement observability improvements that enable engineers and customers to diagnose root causes of production issues.
  • •Own key areas of observability code, ensuring quality across security, durability, availability, performance, and maintainability.
  • •Handle production customer escalations and coach teammates; participate in on-call rotation and help resolve issues.
  • •Write production-ready code, diagnose and fix bugs, improve unit/integration tests, and mentor engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years of experience designing, programming, debugging, and tuning distributed and/or highly concurrent mission-critical software systems in C/C++/Java/Rust.
  • •Experience running latency-sensitive, high-throughput systems.
  • •Strong systems fundamentals, including multi-threaded programming and performance profiling.
  • •Familiarity with database internals or building core components for data processing systems.
  • •Familiarity with the observability ecosystem and best practices, with good understanding of information security management.
