Staff Engineer

Design, build, and operate MongoDB’s internal and external observability stack, powering metrics, logs, traces, and alerts for mission-critical database workloads. Lead architecture and implementation for performance, scalability, reliability, durability, and security under strict SLOs. Collaborate with SWE, Product, and SRE teams to improve instrumentation and monitoring, handle critical customer escalations, and mentor engineers while owning key infrastructure components.
