Job Summary

Drive Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for Naval Ships by developing, implementing, and continuously improving PLM processes, policies, systems, and digital tools. Partner with engineering, IT, and project stakeholders to define requirements and embed best-practice PLM workflows. Support Digital Thread capabilities through auditing, reporting, performance measurement, and product-information dashboards, while ensuring data governance, configuration control, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

•Shape and deliver electrical PLM solutions across complex engineering programmes to support product lifecycle management.
•Partner with engineering, IT, and project stakeholders to define requirements and embed best-practice PLM processes.
•Support development of the Digital Thread by integrating engineering data and business systems.
•Oversee data governance, configuration management, and reporting to maintain compliance and support business performance.
•Act as a subject matter expert by providing technical guidance, mentoring, and recommending continuous improvements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 53,000

Key Requirements

•Experience in the electrical discipline working with CAD modelling and cable management tools and processes.
•Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships to elicit, align, and influence complex business requirements.
•Ability to resolve conflicts to reach agreement and successfully deliver PLM objectives.
•Academic qualification in a STEM subject, with willingness to become an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer through a recognised professional institution.
•Experience supporting PLM processes, policies, systems, and digital tools (including configuration control, data integrity, and governance).
