Key Responsibilities

  • •Foster a zero-incident safety culture, align with Eaton’s Quality Management System, and manage department operations to meet on-time customer delivery.
  • •Implement Eaton’s Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) by ensuring standardized processes, empowering improvement, and applying countermeasures as needed.
  • •Lead and develop direct reports and coordinate across shifts; determine personnel needs, provide training resources, facilitate job bidding, and coach on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • •Assign daily schedules, review in-process inventory, and maintain daily statistics on customer demand, production, and overdue orders; communicate production metrics to leadership and functional supervisors.
  • •Run daily accountability meetings (Tier, GEMBA), lead weekly department meetings, assign overtime as required, evaluate team performance, and maintain clean work areas per 5S standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (accredited) OR High School Diploma/GED (accredited) plus 5+ years’ experience as a supervisor or team leader.
  • •1+ year of experience in a team leadership or supervisor role within a manufacturing environment.
  • •No employment immigration sponsorship/support for this position (e.g., CPT/OPT/STEM OPT, F-1, H-1B, O-1, TN).
  • •No relocation; candidates must currently live within a 50-mile radius of Santa Ana, CA (Active-Duty Military exempt).
  • •Preferred: experience with MRP/ERP systems and Lean fundamentals.
