Job Summary

Transport freshly mixed concrete from the plant to job sites safely as a Ready-Mix Driver. Operate a mixer truck on highways and in yard/jobsite areas, inspect the vehicle daily, and complete required driver paperwork. Adjust equipment for normal operation, deliver at precise locations, and monitor load consistency and cleanliness from the mixer. Maintain clean working order with basic maintenance, follow DOT requirements, and assist with other duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Comply with Department of Transportation requirements including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
•Operate the mixer truck safely on public highways/roads and at job sites to deliver materials.
•Inspect the truck at the start of each workday and complete the Driver Check-off Sheet.
•Follow written and verbal directions, including city street maps, to reach delivery points and complete necessary paperwork.
•Maintain clean working order through basic maintenance, spraying/cleaning after loads, and preventing concrete buildup in the mixer.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Experience in ready mixed trucks or related industry experience preferred.
•Must be 18 years or older.
