Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to monthly and quarterly closing under different accounting GAAPs (Belgium, IFRS 9/17, and Solvency 2).
  • •Perform key controls including analytical reviews and closing checklists.
  • •Supervise production of annual financial statements, including disclosures, statistical information, and qualitative reporting (SFCR, RSR).
  • •Drive continuous improvement and simplification of processes and controls.
  • •Actively participate in the SimpliFi project, including the change of the accounting platform to SAP S/4HANA.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance and/or insurance (accounting, controlling, actuarial, audit).
  • •University Master Degree (preferably Accounting, Economics or Finance).
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch (minimum B2); French is a plus.
  • •Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain trends and logic behind numbers to different stakeholders.
  • •Good knowledge of IFRS 17/9 regulation and SAP would be highly appreciated.
