Key Responsibilities

  • •Diagnose and repair vehicle systems (including A/C, heater & refrigeration, cooling, starting/cranking, lighting, electrical charging, clutch, and charging systems).
  • •Diagnose and repair braking systems, including failure analysis and use of an on-car brake lathe.
  • •Perform diagnostics and corrections for electrical and electronic concerns using wiring diagrams/schematics and electrical testing methods.
  • •Handle major mechanical and drivetrain work including engines, fuel systems, transmissions/driveline, drive axles, steering/alignment, and suspension/chassis repairs.
  • •Support preventative maintenance, fault code identification/service interval resets, document vehicle information, and assist with general shop duties and customer service.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • •3 to 5 years of experience in automotive repair.
  • •Proficient diagnostic skills.
  • •Certifications A-4, A-5, and A-7 (A-2 or A-3 preferred) with progress toward obtaining certifications in the first year.
  • •Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license that meets requirements and be able to safely drive a variety of vehicles.
