Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform installation and customer training tasks according to project scope and directives.
  • •Demonstrate on-site leadership and help supervise the quality of Level 1 technicians.
  • •Interpret project system schematics and construction/architectural plans.
  • •Use manual and electrical tools to solder and crimp connectors and complete AV installation tasks.
  • •Test point-to-point cabling, verify system functionality, manage jobsite tools/equipment, and coordinate daily status updates and change requests with the Project Manager.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience installing audiovisual systems.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of AV systems (e.g., projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, video conferencing, digital signage, control systems).
  • •Intermediate skills installing, terminating, and resolving low-voltage cabling issues (HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic) including conduit/cable trays.
  • •Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems for AV equipment and systems, and understand network infrastructure integration (IP systems, streaming, cloud services).
  • •Valid driver’s license and a driving record meeting AVI-SPL standards; complete secondary education or equivalent.
