Job Summary

Own freight operations for assigned customers by serving as the primary contact for freight inquiries, managing shipments end to end, and ensuring targets are exceeded. Build client loyalty through relationship management and negotiate competitive rates with carriers, agents, and offices. Provide market and profitability reporting, train CMTs and new hires, coordinate with operations teams, support tender pricing and special shipping requirements, and uphold HSSE and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide freight solutions and act as the primary point of contact for client freight inquiries.
•Negotiate competitive freight rates with carriers, agents, and offices to secure best pricing.
•Manage shipments from start to finish and support customers with special shipping requirements.
•Provide station/country leadership with market data, product statistics, and product profitability reports.
•Train CMTs and new hires, facilitate communication between CMTs and operations, and support tenders and tailored customer offers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field is preferred.
•3-5 years of relevant experience in the air freight forwarding industry with strong understanding of global trade lanes.
•Proven customer service experience and ability to manage key business clients.
•Familiarity with CargoWise is preferred.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent written communication skills.
