Job Summary

Lead the Footwear Upper Materials team within the Global Materials Sourcing organization in the Asia Sourcing Office, driving the day-to-day execution of the upper-material supply model. Ensure on-time, quality, and cost-competitive delivery of raw materials to finished goods vendors. Partner with brands, sourcing, suppliers, finance, quality, and responsible sourcing to manage supplier performance, resolve quality issues, support sustainable material roadmaps, and translate analytics into execution outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Build long- and short-term regional material supply strategy for footwear uppers, considering footprint, supply models, lead times, profitability, sustainable materials, and brand/sourcing needs.
•Ensure reliable, on-time delivery of materials for production by working closely with material suppliers and finished goods vendors.
•Partner with VF Materials Labs, sourcing, and quality leaders to manage material quality from guidelines through delivery to factories and resolve factory/vendor quality issues.
•Lead footwear upper materials team execution and manage supplier performance using shared scorecards/tools and established performance management rhythms.
•Drive footwear upper materials cost negotiation tactics using fact-based methodology and cost governance inputs, and support sustainable material roadmaps through supplier capability and capacity identification.
