Mechanical Engineer (Hardware Tooling)

Design and build precision internal lab fixtures, jigs, rigs, and bench structures for R&D hardware development. Own mechanical tooling end-to-end—from SolidWorks drawings with GD&T to instrument/DAQ enclosures and RF/antenna characterisation mechanics—prioritizing repeatability over many cycles. Build and iterate quickly using 3D printing and CNC, validate durability and operator ergonomics (FEA/thermal/CFD as needed), and maintain the modular fixture-mechanics standards that reduce bring-up time across hardware programs.
