Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of predominantly AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure to meet current and future business requirements.
  • •Define and execute cloud strategy supporting scalability, cost efficiency, and business continuity, aligning monitoring/alerting/tooling with company objectives and roadmaps.
  • •Lead and mentor DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure Engineering teams, focusing on continuous professional development and high performance.
  • •Ensure operational excellence by defining monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices, implementing automation, and maintaining 24/7/365 stability, performance, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • •Collaborate with security teams to align infrastructure with ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and Cyber Essentials frameworks, and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity operations.
  • •Partner with development, product, and business teams to ensure infrastructure services meet and report on business requirements.
  • •Manage vendor relationships with cloud service providers and 3rd party vendors, and horizon-scan for improvements.
  • •Contribute to infrastructure operations budget development, management, and reporting with forecasting needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Experienced in senior leadership of IT infrastructure with a focus on cloud services.
  • •Highly experienced managing multiple cloud operations teams across different technologies and geographies.
  • •Expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS) and GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage).
  • •Demonstrable leadership proficiency in DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform).
  • •Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field, and/or equivalent preferred qualifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
