Job Summary

Join Pratt & Whitney at the Columbus Engine Center as a Mechanic (Gate 3) for 1st shift. You’ll assist in overhaul, repair, and assembly of jet engines, following work instructions and using hand tools, fixtures, and SAP to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery in an onsite, team-driven environment.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Work as a member of a team responsible for turbine engine, engine module, or component maintenance in accordance with published work instructions and approved technical data.
•Utilize common hand tools as well as a wide variety of tooling and fixtures to assemble/disassembly and test a jet engine.
•Ensure all phases of assembly/disassembly as specified by work instructions, comply with required self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes ensuring adherence to quality standards.
•Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety, Quality and Delivery objectives.
