Job Summary

Own the linguistic direction, quality bar, and final sign-off for all Arabic localized content across 2K’s game portfolio. Develop glossaries, style guides, and cultural policies; conduct audits of in-development builds; and lead voiceover casting, script review, and creative sessions. Serve as the primary escalation point for tone disputes and complex linguistic bugs, collaborating with LQA, developers, producers, marketing, publishing, and age rating stakeholders while supervising junior linguists and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the localization strategy, quality bar, and final sign-off for all Arabic content across 2K titles.
•Develop, maintain, and enforce glossaries, style guides, and cultural content policies for the Arabic market.
•Review and edit localized content across in-game text, UI, scripts, and voice-over for tone, clarity, fluency, and cultural relevance.
•Serve as the main linguistic escalation point for tone disputes or QA challenges and partner with LQA to investigate and resolve complex linguistic bugs.
•Lead voiceover casting and script review, direct creative sessions during Arabic voiceover production, and supervise entry- and mid-level linguists or vendors.

Key Requirements

•Professional localization experience in games, tech, or entertainment.
•Native fluency in Arabic with demonstrated mastery of tone, grammar, and regional nuance.
•Advanced English fluency (written and spoken) for representing language decisions across global teams.
•Deep understanding of Arabic culture, media, and the Arabic-speaking gaming audience.
•Familiarity with localization tools such as CAT tools, translation memory systems, XLOC, JIRA, and CMS.
