Key Responsibilities

•Accurately design roof and floor trusses, walls, and components for residential and commercial projects.
•Design metal plate-connected wood trusses and wall panels using appropriate software.
•Optimize designs to maximize efficiency.
•Review orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy and correctness.
•Assist sales and production with design service and troubleshooting, and prepare required reports.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience is required.
•Minimum 7+ years of experience in related field/responsibilities.
•Working knowledge and experience using Mitek software is preferred.
•Working knowledge of floor and roof systems, with ability to spec beams and hangers.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
