Job Summary

Support the CH-47F Maintenance Augmentation Team by inspecting, repairing, and replacing aircraft sheetmetal and structural components. Fabricate and shape metal parts, apply fiberglass materials, primers, paints, and corrosion control treatments, and handle both scheduled and emergency repairs. Maintain shop/bench stock, perform tool upkeep, and keep aircraft maintenance forms and records current, while providing OJT, coaching, and mentoring to assigned personnel in a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect, repair, and replace aircraft structural components (e.g., stringers, longerons, bulkheads, beams, and aircraft skin) using approved technical documentation and safety procedures.
•Fabricate structural parts and forming blocks; shape metal using stretching/shrinking and other metal-forming techniques.
•Mix and apply fiberglass materials; make unscheduled emergency and permanent repairs to transparent plastic windows and enclosures.
•Apply primers/paints and corrosion-control treatments; requisition and maintain shop/bench stock items and perform operator maintenance on special tools.
•Prepare, review, and update aircraft maintenance forms and records; provide OJT/coaching/mentoring; ensure all maintenance operations are performed safely.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 37.59 - 64.04 hourly

Key Requirements

•8 years total experience, including 2 years within the last 5 years as an aircraft sheetmetal technician.
•Completion of and qualification by the appropriate U.S. Government armed forces Sheetmetal Technician course or an equivalent civilian training.
•Proficiency using computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and related aviation maintenance management documentation.
•Strong professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including communicating professionally with customers.
•Must be a citizen of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
