Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform site walk-downs for data collection and I/O database preparation, including database partitioning from third-party DCS/PLC systems.
  • •Design and implement power plant control and protection systems.
  • •Run process simulation and testing to validate application behavior.
  • •Lead Design Review Meetings (DRM), Pre-FAT, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and cleanup after FAT.
  • •Verify and functionally test I/O interfaces to field devices and supervise control system installation, commissioning, and start-up.

Key Requirements

  • •4 years bachelor’s degree in ECE, EEE, I&C, or E&I.
  • •5 to 10 years of experience in power plant process, project engineering, and commissioning.
  • •Process knowledge of HRSG, boiler, and BOP control systems.
  • •Control design, implementation, process sequencing, and protection philosophies for sub-critical/super-critical fossil-fired and combined cycle power plants.
  • •Proficiency with ISA and SAMA logic symbols, P&IDs, and electrical/mechanical/hydraulic schematics.
