Location: San Francisco
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Research & Scientific (R&D)

Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, validate, and run SPR and BLI assays across formats including affinity/kinetics, epitope binning, self-interaction, and concentration/quantitation on platforms such as Carterra LSA and Gator BLI.
  • •Design assay strategies for antibody and alternative binder characterization, including sensor chemistry, capture approach, regeneration conditions, and analysis models.
  • •Build new biophysical capabilities end-to-end by scoping needs, evaluating technologies, qualifying instruments, writing SOPs, and preparing validated workflows for autonomous execution.
  • •Partner with roboticists and software engineers to translate manual SPR/BLI workflows into reliable, high-throughput autonomous protocols, including sample handling and data pipeline integration.
  • •Integrate biophysical data with orthogonal characterization (nanoDSF/DSC, HPLC-SEC/DLS, polyspecificity), work with customers on campaign scoping, and maintain rigorous ELN records to drive reproducibility.
