Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and improve Infrastructure as Code and configuration-management automation (Terraform, Ansible) to provision and manage NoSQL, streaming, and caching platforms.
  • •Build repeatable automation for deploying data services across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • •Improve reliability, availability, scalability, performance, and resiliency, including defining and tracking service-level indicators/objectives and error budgets.
  • •Develop observability solutions (metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, alerts) and perform scaling, failover, backup/recovery, upgrades, and routine maintenance automation.
  • •Troubleshoot platform issues (Cassandra, Aerospike, Kafka/MSK, Redis), participate in on-call/incident response, write and maintain runbooks, and contribute to root-cause analysis and permanent fixes.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in software engineering, database reliability engineering, site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or a related field.
  • •Production software experience in Go, including testing, concurrency, error handling, and maintainability.
  • •Hands-on Infrastructure as Code/configuration-management experience with Terraform or Ansible.
  • •Experience deploying or operating workloads on Kubernetes.
  • •Experience with AWS or GCP and familiarity with managed services such as MSK, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, Memorystore, and/or NoSQL/caching/streaming tech like Cassandra, Aerospike, Kafka, and Redis.
