Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and run the program’s approach to tracking assets across their lifecycle from acquisition through retirement.
  • •Maintain trusted asset inventory data used before deployments and refreshes, not after gaps are discovered.
  • •Investigate and close discrepancies so they are resolved in the system of record, not merely logged.
  • •Ensure assets enter and retire in the system when they do in practice, including warranty/refresh/lifecycle status visibility.
  • •Turn asset data into decisions for refresh planning, security/compliance reviews, and budget/lifecycle forecasts.

Key Requirements

  • •Have owned an asset or configuration management program at a scale where manual tracking isn’t feasible.
  • •Get technical teams to update a system of record instead of working around it, and explain how you drive adoption.
  • •Support audits or compliance reviews where your data was the basis for what was checked.
  • •Work with procurement and lifecycle processes as part of the asset management workflow.
  • •Hold an active CBP BI and EOD (or an active DHS fitness determination at another DHS component / active DoD clearance).
