Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Senior lead and, if appointed, prepare the Project Quality Plan and organize and lead the design team.
  • •Carry out structural design, prepare/review project reports, ensure calculations/drawings/specifications are checked per the Project Quality Plan, and implement the document control system.
  • •Coordinate with clients and consultants, hold regular design team meetings, and ensure agreed changes are incorporated with proper records and variation cost as needed.
  • •Review shop drawings, incorporate comments from design checker(s), deliver timely markups to the drafting team, and ensure designs are correctly represented in drawings.
  • •Research design options, produce and self-check designs and technical documents, perform quality checks and site inspections as instructed, and comply with SHEQ obligations.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience designing multi-level residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
  • •Experience designing reinforced and post-tensioned concrete and structural steelwork.
  • •Proficiency with structural design software including RAPT, RAM Concept, Microstran, and ETABS.
  • •Ability to check documentation accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and the Project Quality Plan.
  • •Registered Civil Engineer recognized by the relevant licensure regulatory board.
