Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify factors that drive desired product performance metrics and use modeling tools for optimization/predictions.
  • •Analyze experimental and analytical data with strong technical rigor and design test plans to identify and optimize performance.
  • •Assess and manage risks by forming clear problem statements and evaluating lower-level requirements impacting hair style and drying performance.
  • •Collaborate with project teams to deliver optimized hair style and drying performance and communicate results coherently to stakeholders.
  • •Actively challenge the status quo, develop new tools/methods to enhance performance, reliability, and time to market; coach more junior engineers as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •5+ years’ experience in product design and development (less may be considered for the right candidate).
  • •Strong working knowledge of engineering fundamentals, measurement analysis, and statistical analysis.
  • •Competency in Minitab, MATLAB, and/or Excel (or other data acquisition/processing tools).
  • •Some experience with CAD/CAE tools; reasonable experience with statistical modeling such as multiple regression is preferred.
