Job Summary

Lead and mentor a team of transactional attorneys focused on revenue-generating customer contracts, including SaaS, licensing, and services agreements. Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to support revenue growth while mitigating legal and business risk. Draft, negotiate, and review complex agreements; develop contract templates and enablement materials with Legal Operations; and ensure terms align with company policies and applicable federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage a team of transactional attorneys negotiating complex commercial customer contracts, including SaaS, licensing, and services agreements.
•Partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to support revenue growth while managing legal risk.
•Identify and address legal and business risks in contracts; review terms for compliance with company policies and applicable federal and state regulations.
•Strategize with Legal Operations to create and operationalize agreement templates (e.g., MSAs, licensing agreements) and internal enablement documents (playbooks, FAQs, one-pagers).
•Clearly explain contract terminology to customers and stakeholders and provide practical legal guidance that balances business objectives and risk.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8-10 years of legal experience, with prior in-house counsel experience preferred, focused on negotiating and drafting technology-related contracts and commercial agreements.
•Strong background negotiating and drafting revenue-generating customer contracts (SaaS, licensing, and services agreements).
•Ability to manage people, including people management and team-building experience.
•Experience negotiating contract terms with both government entities and private companies.
•Must be licensed to practice law in at least one US state and be in good standing.
