Key Responsibilities

•Drive cross-boundary architectural decisions and define how Backend serves live telemetry to Frontend dashboards and how Data Engineering pipelines feed the Knowledge Graph.
•Enforce high API and frontend architecture standards; review API designs (FastAPI) and ensure Data pipelines have quality gates.
•Be the senior voice for DevOps connectivity between Cloud and On-Prem and address concurrency challenges in distributed streams.
•Conduct code reviews, mentor senior developers, and translate high-level product requirements into technical tasks for the squad (ADO).
•Ensure the backend, frontend, and data pipelines integrate reliably to support the Visualizations and Control Room interfaces.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with at least 2+ years leading technical teams.
•Deep proficiency in Python Backend Development.
•Solid understanding of Frontend complexity (SPA architecture, async data loading).
•Experience designing or managing Data Intensive Applications (ETL, Streams, Data Lakes).
•Familiarity with DevOps/Cloud concepts (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
