Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the key day-to-day client interface to ensure client objectives are met through cost management delivery.
  • •Produce estimate and final cost plans, reconcile changes, and support the general contractor to ensure accurate data.
  • •Review and collaborate with design services and the general contractor to develop cost estimates, including written commentary for submissions and executive summaries.
  • •Lead cost/quantity surveying, cost controls, change management, valuations, and the management of post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
  • •Manage cost impact/contingency and commitment tracking, prepare monthly cost reports and funding data presentations, and mentor/coach talent.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5-7+ years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it (preferred).
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction commercial matters such as procurement routes, value management, and value engineering, plus excellent communication skills.
