Join Jetconnect and help operate the Qantas network as a B737-800 First Officer based in New Zealand. You’ll support the Captain in safe, efficient flights while representing the Qantas brand. •Operate the modern Boeing 737-800 fleet as a First Officer for Jetconnect flights connecting New Zealand to the Qantas network.
•Uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and training throughout operations.
•Support the Captain in delivering safe and efficient operations.
•Participate in comprehensive training, including Qantas Flight Training, to maintain required standards.
•Represent the Qantas brand with pride while working as part of a close-knit professional crew.

Key Requirements

•1,500 hours total flight time in an aeroplane and 500 hours powered fixed-wing multi-engine or single-engine turbine time.
•250 hours command on fixed-wing aircraft, or 250 hours command (up to 180 hours ICUS) plus 500 hours as co-pilot on a transport category aircraft.
•Australian CASA ATPL (A) or CPL (A) with relevant subject passes for CPL holders.
•CASA Multi Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with 2D/3D instrument approach endorsements, plus a current MEA Instrument Proficiency Check.
•Level 6 English Language Proficiency, current CASA Class 1 Medical, and eligibility for ASIC (Australia) and AvSec (NZ) security clearances. Legal right to live and work in New Zealand without restriction (Non-NZ/Australian passport holders must hold NZ Permanent Residency).
