Job Summary

Own the end-to-end web multimedia experience by designing and building high-performance, scalable playback systems for VoD and Live. Lead 0-to-1 exploration of in-browser AI and LLM/agent features for quality enhancement, highlight extraction, analysis, and environment awareness. Develop internal AI-powered troubleshooting and efficiency platforms, and optimize low-latency streaming, ABR logic, and DRM-protected playback across the browser stack.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive 0-to-1 exploration of LLM/AI agent or in-browser AI applications to build features for quality enhancement, highlight extraction, video/audio analysis, and environment awareness.
•Architect and implement highly performant, scalable multimedia playback systems using WebCodecs, MSE/EME, and WebAssembly for an extreme playback experience.
•Build internal platforms and efficiency tools integrating LLMs, RAG, and function calling for troubleshooting assistants, automated on-call systems, and multimedia analysis dashboards.
•Set technical standards for code quality, performance, and system design, and mentor junior engineers while influencing technical roadmaps.
•Own end-to-end performance of critical multimedia components by optimizing low-latency streaming, ABR logic, and seamless DRM-protected delivery.

Key Requirements

•BS/BA in Computer Science or related field.
•Expert proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+) with modern frontend frameworks such as React, plus advanced CSS and frontend performance optimization.
•5+ years of frontend development experience shipping large-scale web applications or complex end-to-end system architecture.
•Deep mastery of browser engine internals, rendering pipelines, memory management, and multi-threading (Web Workers) to resolve performance bottlenecks.
•Understanding of the multimedia domain (video platforms/products, video codecs, video quality optimization, or web media player concepts).
