Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct primary and secondary reviews of complex tax returns and provide tax consulting services for partnership clients.
  • •Evaluate tax aspects of partnership agreements and manage clients’ IRC 704b accounts.
  • •Plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects; market, sell, design, and implement tax-planning strategies and manage to budget.
  • •Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff; assess performance and support engagement and year-end reviews.
  • •Research tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries, maintain client communication, and support business development activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • •CPA required
  • •6 to 10 years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting (or a mix of industry and public accounting)
  • •Strong knowledge of US GAAP, partnership returns, joint venture and non-corporate entity tax returns, and Sub-chapter K partnership taxation
  • •Excellent analytical, client service, communication, and leadership skills, including ability to manage competing priorities
