Key Responsibilities

•Lead and oversee engineering activities across manufacturing facilities, including planning and executing equipment design, modification, and renewal; maintain engineering quality and standards; provide technical support to plants and troubleshoot issues
•Drive capital investment and improvement initiatives; define technical scope, support CAPEX projects, and manage equipment life-cycle and replacement planning
•Ensure safety, process safety, and regulatory/compliance through engineering reviews; participate in MOC and PSSR activities
•Develop and manage the engineering organization and personnel; select and manage equipment suppliers, contractors, and vendors; foster cross-functional collaboration with Production, QA, EHS, and Process Technology
•Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, EHS, and SCM to enable stable production and long-term equipment reliability and cost competitiveness

Key Requirements

•8+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing industries with hands-on knowledge of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and utilities
•Proven experience in equipment installation, modification, and improvement
•Experience planning and executing equipment design, modification, and renewal activities
•Business-level Japanese is required; working-level English for technical documentation and communication
•Ability to lead and develop engineering teams and manage external suppliers, contractors, and vendors
