Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely drive building materials equipment within the yard/plant, following laws and plant manager/dispatch instructions.
  • •Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and detect/report maintenance issues.
  • •Operate loaders and forklifts to transport materials from storage to hoppers and safely load for delivery.
  • •Ensure quality and accuracy of products being loaded and delivered; detect/report improper operation or defective materials.
  • •Maintain work area cleanliness and follow safety/OSHA procedures, including safe climbing practices and manual material handling.
