Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance and sustainment support on 3kW to 150kW generators, including installation/removal from fixed and mobile locations.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC systems, electronic control systems, and related wiring/control components.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, chillers, and environmental control units (including trailer/vehicle-mounted units).
  • •Maintain military-spec generators and Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS), and operate a load bank during testing.
  • •Fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals; support generator shop and field environments and training for site personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •Secret clearance: must currently possess Secret and be able to obtain Secret.
  • •High School diploma.
  • •3+ years of related experience (BA/BS +2 years; AA/AS +4 years; or High School diploma +7 years).
  • •Extensive diesel generator experience, including generator parallel systems and switch gear.
  • •Knowledge/experience with brazing copper tubing and evacuating/recharging refrigerant, plus generator/HVAC repair/troubleshooting.
