Job Summary

Join the SpaceX EHS team to support environmental, health, and safety programs for construction, expansion, and operation of advanced AI infrastructure and large-scale compute facilities. You’ll drive compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, EPA, CERCLA, RCRA, and DOT requirements; conduct job hazard assessments and incident investigations; monitor exposure to physical and chemical hazards; and develop safety programs and contingency plans. The role is on-site in the Memphis area and involves periodic extended hours.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain compliance with applicable OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, and related regulations and guidelines.
•Collaborate with leadership, engineering teams, and facility managers on job hazard assessments and safety policies and procedures.
•Monitor exposure to physical and chemical hazards and recommend remedial actions when safety standards are not met.
•Develop and maintain environmental and transportation compliance programs for EPA, CERCLA, RCRA, DOT, and other agencies.
•Lead or support incident investigations and implement safety and health programs (e.g., HAZCOM, confined space, fall protection, lock-out/tag-out, electrical safety) plus contingency plans.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in engineering, occupational safety, environmental science, or a related field.
•5+ years of experience designing, developing, and overseeing EHS programs, ideally in high-tech manufacturing, data centers, or industrial construction.
•Master’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in engineering with emphasis on occupational health and safety.
•Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification.
•Knowledge of process safety management and strong experience interpreting and documenting federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
