Key Responsibilities

  • •Open, close, and maintain checking, savings, time deposit, and IRA accounts, and support services such as safe deposit boxes and savings bonds.
  • •Answer client questions by listening, collecting data, and providing timely resolutions while maintaining privacy of customer information.
  • •Profile clients to identify sales opportunities and use lead lists to develop additional business and meet sales production goals.
  • •Receive and process new accounts and requested changes (name, address, product changes), and ensure data entry accuracy.
  • •Complete required reports and records, attend training/meetings (including possible evenings/Saturdays), and support banking center tasks such as year-end reporting and log organization.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •Good understanding of financial services and products provided.
  • •0 to 3 years of New Account experience.
  • •Complete the Personal Banker Mentor Program/Personal Banker Learning Plan (and Teller Learning Plan if applicable) and complete required training modules.
  • •Strong communication/public relations skills and ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment including 10-key and telephone.
