Job Summary

Support Boeing’s avionics test efforts as a Lab Operations Engineer within BT&E in Long Beach, CA. You will execute test procedures, develop test methods and instrumentation/configuration definitions, and design lab hardware, software, and systems to meet requirements. The role includes analyzing and formatting test data, reviewing off-nominal results for accuracy and quality, preparing and publishing test reports, and troubleshooting and resolving lab equipment issues for new and legacy test systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform systems verification by executing test procedures and supporting development and verification of test methods.
•Develop detailed test procedures, instrumentation, and configuration definitions to perform tests and minimize risk.
•Design test hardware, software, and systems to achieve test requirements, using analytical tools to verify design.
•Analyze, process, and format test data; review test data (including off-nominal) for accuracy, quality, and fidelity prior to delivery.
•Prepare and publish test reports, present test results internally, and archive data and reports.

Salary: USD 76,500 - 150,650 annually

Key Requirements

•Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship (interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance post-start).
•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (or non-U.S. equivalent directly related).
•Experience with electronic hardware testing and troubleshooting.
•Experience testing software and electronic hardware development.
•Experience working in a laboratory environment and with wire harness design and drawings.
