Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain strategic global partnerships with universities, mining laboratories, technology providers, startups, mining companies, venture funds, and research organizations.
  • •Oversee the design, execution, and validation of experimental and pilot studies to deliver scalable, transferable research outputs.
  • •Continuously scout emerging technologies across mining and mineral processing and evaluate maturity, readiness, commercial potential, scalability, and IP position.
  • •Coordinate technical evaluations with internal business units and facilitate laboratory testing, pilot programs, demonstrations, and industrial trials.
  • •Maintain an international innovation ecosystem by managing a global technology pipeline, reporting on emerging trends, organizing exchanges, and supporting collaboration negotiations (NDAs/MOUs/JDAs/licensing).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Geoscience, or a related discipline (PhD optional).
  • •10–15 years of experience in mining, mineral processing, technology development, innovation, business development, or strategic partnerships.
  • •Demonstrated experience collaborating with international universities, technology companies, startups, or research organizations.
  • •Ability to assess technology maturity, technical readiness, commercial potential, scalability, IP position, and strategic fit.
  • •Strong global network within the mining innovation ecosystem (highly desirable).
